Some Bamar ethnic people who received artillery and machine-gun attacks by the Myanmar Army were transferred in good condition to a safe place after the Arakan Army had rescued them 17th March 2020
When five employees of the "Moe Htet Myint" towers installation company in Yay Kyi Ai Street, Wireless Quarter, Mingladon township of Yangon Division, were on their way to Buthidaung from Rathedaung in Arakan, they had been fired by the Myanmar Army troops with heavy and light machine guns near Kyauk-Tan village in Rathedaung township on 15 March 2020. Although there was no fighting anywhere nearby, the Myanmar Army troops without any warning deliberately shot at the crane carrying those tower company staffs. The Arakan Army was able to rescue those employees who were luckily escaping from the firing of the Myanmar Army. After the five of them were interrogated for a while, they were transferred in good condition to the village administrators safely in the right time.
